Fresh Yeast

If anyone can find me a supplier of fresh yeast (and deliver some to me), I’ll bake you a loaf of bread in exchange.

Eh what exactly do you mean by fresh yeast?
I thought all yeast are fresh coz you just rejuvenate them in water?

fresh yeast as in cake yeast as in wet yeast. not the dried kind or the active dry kind. the kind that spoils in 10-20 days. haha.

Orh. Have you gone to that japanese bakery in Holland V to ask if they can sell you some? They make their own cakes n bread in house so they should have.

Ya the problem is that apparently most professional bakeries (even) in Singapore now use active dry yeast. Pffft. I shall have to learn to make do.
But thanks for the idea, will check with them next time I’m in Holland anyway!
