WE INTERRUPT NORMAL POSTING FOR AN INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT BULLETIN THAT HAS RENDERED MY LEFT PINKIE INCAPABLE OF RELEASING THE SHIFT BUTTON!!!! I AM GOING TO THE FRENCH LAUNDRY IN MAY!!!! IM GOING TO THE FRENCH LAUNDRY!!! I GOT MY RESERVATION!!!!!!!! IM GOING TO THE FRENCH LAUNDRY!!!!!!!!!!

    Congratulation!! lucky you!
    Last time when I got no luck for getting the reservation at French Laundry. Did you call early morning Pacific time?

    I basically started rabidly speed-dialing at 9.58am Pacific Time. And I didn’t stop until I got through at 10.15? I was on hold for a while though, but just patiently waited and made sure the cat didn’t come anywhere near the phone, then presto the most beautiful human voice I’d ever heard came on and took my reservation :)

    The reservations line opens from 10am to 5pm 7 days a week, and I did a bit of googling, which told me I had to start immediately then ‘cos they’re generally out of tables by 11am.

    I was also experiencing busy tone when I called them from 10am and when I got through they got no more seat left :((

    Thanks everyone :) I’m super excited too (as I’m sure you can all tell by the number of !!!!s in my post haha). I’ll definitely try my best to do a post on it! I just hope I don’t fall all over the table/food and completely forget to take pictures HA
