You know it exists when you’re at a party where everyone’s standing around reminiscing about their college days, and a lot of sentences start with, “You know.. 20 years ago…..”
Especially since A) you’re still in college, and B) the only phrase you can append to “20 years ago…” is “…I was born.”

Heh. For me, it is when everyone goes “OMG, do you remember the 70s?”
Heck, I’m not even familiar with the early 80s. Generation gap indeed. ;)

OK, I was born in 70s. But I hardly have any memories of 70s, as I was just 8 years old when it turned 80s! Now, my memory only starts around mid-80s…
Just imagine the generation gap you would have with my 2 young sons…when you said “do you remember the craze when the iPod was launched…”, they would go “Ah, that antique technology, that’s so ‘before-I-was-born’”! …and indeed, iPod was released before they were born…OMG!
